Don't tidy up
We need to see the property as it actually is to quote accurately. Tidying first genuinely does not help us, and it is not something you should feel you have to do.
A simple, no-pressure process. You will have a written price in your hand before anybody starts lifting anything.
Call the freephone number or send a few details through the form. Tell us roughly what the property is like — the size, which rooms are involved, and anything you are worried about. There is no need to tidy up first and no need to explain or justify anything.
We arrange a time that suits you and come to see the property. This is the part that lets us quote accurately: volume of contents, access, parking, stairs, and how much sorting is involved. It also gives you a chance to meet us before committing to anything.
You get a clear written price for the work discussed. It is fixed for the scope we agreed, so there are no hourly surprises at the end. Take as long as you like to think about it — we will not chase you.
If you go ahead, we agree dates and a plan: which rooms in what order, what must be kept, whether you want to be there, and whether the job runs in one visit or several.
Our team works through the property room by room. Anything you have asked us to keep is set aside safely. Documents, photographs, jewellery and paperwork are put to one side as we find them.
Everything is loaded and taken away. Items in good condition are donated or reused where possible, recyclables are separated, and the rest goes through licensed disposal. Waste transfer documentation is available on request.
The property is left clear and broom-swept. If you have asked for a deep clean or sanitising, that happens now. We walk through with you (or send photographs) so you can see it finished.
Before we arrive
People often ask what they should do before the visit. The honest answer is: nothing.
We need to see the property as it actually is to quote accurately. Tidying first genuinely does not help us, and it is not something you should feel you have to do.
The one useful thing you can do is have a rough idea of what must not be thrown away. Even a mental list helps us work more carefully in the right places.
A family member, a friend, a support worker — whoever makes the visit easier for you is welcome to be there.
No forms to fill in first if you would rather just talk. Call the freephone number and we will take it from there.
