Whatever the property, the process is the same: a free visit, a written quote, and a clearance carried out at a pace that suits you. If you want to be there and sort alongside us, that is fine. If you would rather hand over the keys and come back to a cleared house, that is fine too.
Maryport was developed in the eighteenth century by the Senhouse family as a coal port, and named after Mary Senhouse. Before that, the site was the Roman fort of Alauna, part of the coastal defences extending beyond Hadrian's Wall.
The Senhouse Roman Museum holds one of the largest collections of Roman altar stones in Britain. The harbour and Georgian grid of streets remain the defining features of the town.
We cover Maryport itself and the villages and rural addresses around it. If you are not sure whether your postcode is in range, call and ask — you will get a straight answer.

Maryport
Yes. Maryport is within our normal working area — Carlisle, across Cumbria and up to around 40 miles. Outlying villages and rural addresses near Maryport are covered too.
It depends on the volume of contents, the type of waste, the access at the property and how much sorting is involved. We quote each job individually after a free visit, and the price is fixed for the scope we agree.
No. We clear hoarded and heavily cluttered properties as our specialism, and nothing we find is commented on or discussed outside the job. We can also arrive discreetly if you would prefer neighbours not to know.
That depends on the size of the job and how booked up we are. Give us a call and we will be straight with you about realistic dates rather than promising something we cannot deliver.
We reuse, donate and recycle wherever possible and dispose of the remainder through licensed facilities. We hold a Waste Carrier Licence and can provide waste transfer documentation on request.
Yes. Plenty of our Maryport jobs — particularly probate and void clearances — are arranged through an agent, neighbour or family keyholder, with photographs sent to you as we go.
Call us or send a few details and we will arrange a free visit. No pressure, no obligation, and nothing discussed with anyone else.
