Ulverston is a market town in the Furness peninsula, granted its charter in the thirteenth century. It has the shortest, widest and deepest canal in England, built in 1796 to link the town to the sea, and the Hoad Monument — a lighthouse-like tower of 1850 honouring Sir John Barrow — stands above it.
The comedian Stan Laurel was born in the town in 1890, and a museum in the town centre commemorates him.
We cover Ulverston itself and the villages and rural addresses around it. If you are not sure whether your postcode is in range, call and ask — you will get a straight answer.

Ulverston
Yes. Ulverston is within our normal working area — Carlisle, across Cumbria and up to around 40 miles. Outlying villages and rural addresses near Ulverston are covered too.
It depends on the volume of contents, the type of waste, the access at the property and how much sorting is involved. We quote each job individually after a free visit, and the price is fixed for the scope we agree.
No. We clear hoarded and heavily cluttered properties as our specialism, and nothing we find is commented on or discussed outside the job. We can also arrive discreetly if you would prefer neighbours not to know.
That depends on the size of the job and how booked up we are. Give us a call and we will be straight with you about realistic dates rather than promising something we cannot deliver.
We reuse, donate and recycle wherever possible and dispose of the remainder through licensed facilities. We hold a Waste Carrier Licence and can provide waste transfer documentation on request.
